Hi Amy,
from what I’ve read on your blog I presume you try and buy organic fruit and vegetables locally. I live in Hobart. If you live anywhere in the south of Tasmania could you let me know where you get organic produce please. Thanks. I’d really appreciate it.

I’m commenting nearly a year after your original post but I get my organics home delivered for $3.50 from Eatem Organics. Check them out on Facebook. Family run farm in Lonnavale. Beautiful produce and lovely people to deal with. Have been with them for three years. All other providers of organic in Hobart are more expensive. Hope this is still relevant and helpful 🙂

Hey Alison. I live half an hour out from Hobart so I do my shopping in the city. I buy my fruit and veg from Eumarrah mostly, sometimes I get a few things from City Organics. It is not the cheapest but it is something I choose to invest in. I get some goods like coconut oil from Natures Works as they have the best prices on packaged foods. I have wanted to check out the organic food store at the uni called ‘Source’ community foods, but always find it too difficult to get a park but this could be worth a try also. http://www.sourcewholefoods.org.au. I buy my meat from Hill st meats, buy nicols or marion bay chicken and get seafood from ‘the fish man’! Cheers, Amy
